Hang Seng Low Carbon Future – Low Carbon Schools

"Hang Seng Low Carbon Future – Low Carbon Schools" Programme is a self-sustaining immersive school education programme aiming to reduce carbon emissions through the production and use of renewable energy while inspiring young people to step up their involvement in the fight against climate change.

Solar panels would be installed at two schools in the first year. The solar energy produced will earn annual rebates from the Hong Kong Government’s Feed-in-Tariff Scheme. The earnings will fund climate awareness and education initiatives for the participating schools’ teachers, students and families up to 2033.
