Christian Action, established in 1985, is a registered charitable organization which serves those who are disadvantaged, marginalised, displaced or abandoned, aiming to give them hope, dignity and self-reliance. Their services are based on the example of Jesus Christ who came to serve all people, regardless of their age, gender, nationality and religion.

Their social services and humanitarian programme serves ethnic minorities, migrant domestic workers, refugees, underprivileged families and children, and young students. They have a social enterprise initiative that aims to proactively promote being environmentally friendly, create employment opportunities, and further develop our various services to serve those in need through sustainable business models. They also provide vocational skills training and retraining services.

The head office of Christian Action is located at Choi Wan(2) Estate. 63 pieces of solar photovoltaic(PV) panels were installed on its rooftop, with a system capacity of 33.39 kWp. Its estimated power generation in the first year is 35,517 kWh,323 kWh

This system uses an optimizer that can monitor the power-generating condition of each solar panel independently, as well as increase the system's total power generation.

The solar panels were installed on Christian Action’s rooftop

The weather station mounted on the stands of the PV panels collect irradiance and ambient temperature data, which allows engineers to examine the performance of the system from the detected data. It could also be used for taking preventive measures, monitoring potential risks and making timely corrections to the system if necessary.
